Repairs

Jewelry Purchased Directly from Emily Margaret:
  • Emily Margaret offers free repairs for jewelry purchased with-in one year in the United States, excluding Puerto Rico. Please note that repairs are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and additional charges may apply. Warranty for repairs is voided if the item has been altered, resized, or repaired prior to being sent to Emily Margaret. 

  • Please email EmilyMargaretDesigns@gmail.com noting the reason for your repair and the name of the purchaser. A customer service representative will contact you within 2 business days.

Jewelry Purchased From Other Designs:
  • Emily Margaret offers alterations, repairs, and resizing for all kinds of jewelry. Each inquiry will be handled on a case-by-case basis. 

  • Please email EmilyMargaretDesigns@gmail.com noting the reason for your repair, the store from which it was purchased (if known), and a little information on the piece. (i.e.: what type of metal, type of piece, and the meaning this piece has to you.) 

Sales Tax

Applicable state and local sales tax will be charged to all sales where Emily Margaret has a physical presence. Currently this is the State of New York.

Cleaning & Care

Emily Margaret fine jewelry is delicate and should be cared for accordingly. To extend the life of your jewelry, please follow these care instructions: 

  • Take off your jewelry before your daily routine such as: showering, lotion, perfume. etc.

  • Do not wear your jewelry to the beach or the pool to avoid exposure to harsh chemicals. 

  • Exposure to makeup, oil, and dyes can diminish the sparkle of your jewelry.

  • For necklaces, please clasp the necklace when removing to assure you do not tangle or knot. 

  • Before bedtime, lay your jewelry out flat.

Shipping​

Lost or Damaged Packages: 
  • Please note that Emily Margaret is not responsible for lost or stolen items once declared "Delivered" by carrier. 

  • If your package is lost in transit, please email us immediately at EmilyMargaretDesign@gmail.com and we will try our best to resolve the issue. 

  • In the case of a lost or stolen package, we, the shipper, will immediately file a claim with the mail carrier on your behalf and come to a resolution. When filing the report it can take anywhere from 8-10 business days for the claim to be completed. Emily Margaret is unable to replace the lost or stolen item until the claim is completed with the mail carrier.

  • For international orders, please contact your local postal service for information on how to file a claim.

Return Policy

  • Please contact EmilyMargaretDesign@gmail.com for a return authorization number and a prepaid label.

  • Items must be returned within 14 business days of receiving the item. 

  • Returns must be unworn, undamaged, and unaltered. 

  • All personalized and engraved items are final sale.
